First Baptist Church Allentown

What can I say about this Church?

When I first came to this church I thought it was great but I barely understood the Bible at the time.
after understanding the Bible I understood there are so many false teachers which this is one of many in America that takes advantage of limited knowledge and understanding.

1. although very bad with theology the apologetics is good, you can learn a lot about defending the faith but sadly you will not get sound doctrine

2. They will preach about what is in the bible but not live it out, to make things worse is if they do not like you they will go against you entirely.

3. on their website they literally say “no perfect people allowed” which goes against many teachings of Jesus himself (John 5:14, Matthew 19:21)

4. The pastor preached on repentance but the issue is he never taught it right leaving people free to sin according to their false theology

5. if they have issues with you and you truly repented, they will hold it against you which is a clear violation of Isaiah 43:18 (the TNIV is the best wording)

6. When the congregation comes to the pastor about issues with someone the pastors never ask if the obeyed Matthew 18: 15 and 16 first, they go straight to 17
